Projects >> Little Park >>
Little park was planned to be a private gathering for a lady called Charlotte and her close personal friends on her Philberds manor estate. She approached ACDisco to help her put on an event for 150 people with dance music being the order of play. Through many discussions and meetings it was decided by Charlotte that she wanted this event to help a local dyslexic charity. this meant scrapping a private event and moving into the commercial sector supplying an event for 1000 people. ACDisco helped with everything in 2003 to help the newly formed Obscure ent get its footing. Now Obscure is household name to dance enthusiasts in Oxford.

One example is The Tom Fund. This began with what was to be a private gathering. We were approached for advice in putting on an outdoor party for 150 people at Philberds Manor estate. After many meetings with the organiser Charlotte, she decided to make the event a fund raiser for a local dyslexic charity. This meant scrapping the original idea and moving into the commercial sector organising an event for 1000 people. We helped with all aspects of this and provided DJ’s to play all kinds of dance music. The event was an enormous success and launched the Obscure promotion team. They are now a household name for dance music enthusiasts in the Oxford area.
