See
Venue: Indoors or outdoors?
When picking a venue, you normally want it to look as good as possible and within your budget. Once you have reserved the venue you may need to dress it with lighting and fabricRemember you can uplight inside as well as outside.. in any colour you want!!
Colour Co-ordination
Hopefully you have a good idea of the colours you like? if not there are tried and tested colours which work well (Gold and blue, purple and aqua etc) search the web they are all out there with images!!
Remember that once you have a colour scheme everything can be dressed and lit according to how you want it. Whether it be lighting your wall or dressing your bridesmaids and chairs!
Pictures: Displaying and taking.
Make sure your lighting looks good for photos, too bright and it can look terrible! Too dark and most images will get blurred or will be unfocused!
Discuss your lighting requirements with us and we will be able to recommend lighting so you can have great images with colours complimenting the overall picture.
Projectors: Remeber you may want to show some images of your childhoods, family and holidays you may have taken together. This can be done extremely cheaply. Contact us for a quote
Hear
Vows:
You can amplify your vows whether it is a civil ceromony or a chruch wedding.
Normally we recommend 3 lapel mics and a small PA system for this.
This way each of you can be heard and mixed independently.
Speeches:
You have 2 choices for the mics; Lapel or handheld. Lapel is for individuals where as the handheld will be passed around as and when it is needed to.
Music:
Bands, DJ's, DIY Discos, IPOD playback systems or a combination of more than one.
Each have their own pro's and cons. Its always best to way up your options :)
Taste
If you venue does not supply food, we know of some nice caterers.. Contact us to find out more!
